INTERSCOPE RECORDS
Thirty years celebrating music, the record label tells the story of its most acclaimed albums through art.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the record label Interscope Records, a bunch of artists from all over the world have been chosen to make 57 vinyl covers of some of their most famous songs and albums “in the form of limited-edition vinyl.” There are only 100 units per album, $2.500 each.
While the format is relatively small (12 1/2 × 12 1/2 in or 31.8 × 31.8 cm), we appreciate the work of these artists for being able to bring to the surface the soul of each of these works. Artists as well-known as Damien Hirst, author of the reinventions of Eminem’s albums, or Cecily Brown with the don’t smile at me album by Billie Eilish.
You can get your hands on one of these works by visiting Artsy.
