ART SINGAPORE
With over 150 galleries, Art SG is Southern Asia’s largest (ever) art fair. Here are the highlights.
Singapore is slowly but surely making its way into becoming, in the near future, a place of reference inside the Asian market. As Art SG makes its debut in the city, many important international galleries have wanted to be part of it, such as White Cube, Gagosian, or Thaddaeus Ropac. In this selection you will find works by artists like Elizabeth Glaessner, Jose Dávila, Thomas Schütte and Takuro Kuwata, among others.

Marguerite Humeau. VII - In the inky darkness of a termite mound, I found at its core the symbiotic fungus garden. In the first days of the mound, a primordial comb was insulated with spores brought in by the termites. The fungi then started to convert the dead and decaying plant material ingested by the termites into easily digestible complex sugars that they could feed on. I saw, the fungi fruit emerging from the ground, in the wind starting to dance, and spreading millions of basidiospores into the environment., 2022.
